Servants of the Church
Deacons Ministry
The Deacons Ministry of Temple Ministries is the hands and feet of the church — serving with humility, integrity, and a heart devoted to God and His people.
The Heart of Service
Called to Serve
The word 'deacon' comes from the Greek word diakonos, meaning servant. At Temple Ministries, our deacons embody this calling every week — ensuring the practical and spiritual needs of the congregation are met with excellence and compassion.
From assisting with communion and baptism to caring for members in need, our deacons serve quietly and faithfully behind the scenes and at the forefront of ministry. They are the backbone of our church's day-to-day operations and a vital expression of Christ's love in action.
"For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus."
How We Serve

Faithfully collecting, counting, and safeguarding the tithes and offerings of the congregation with transparency and accountability.

The Standard of a Deacon
Our deacons are held to the biblical standard found in 1 Timothy 3:8–13 — men and women of proven character, faithful in their homes and in the church.
Dignified & Sincere
Deacons carry themselves with dignity, free from double-talk and driven by genuine faith rather than personal gain.
Faithful in Marriage & Family
They manage their households well, modeling godly relationships and raising their children in the fear of the Lord.
Tested & Proven
Deacons are not appointed hastily. They are observed, tested, and found blameless before being entrusted with this responsibility.
Committed to the Faith
They hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience — grounded in Scripture and unwavering in their devotion to Christ.
